It's Well Past Time for a District 1 Town Hall

It has been many years since the good people of California's District 1 were able to attend an open forum to share their concerns and present their questions to their elected representative. We are a democracy, and everyone who votes wants to elect someone who will vote in their best interests.
A town hall format is a peaceful, effective way to allow constituents to share what those interests are. Town halls are not designed to be one-sided, like a phone-in alternative, but instead to allow questions and answers that aren't from a script or a teleprompter.
That's why we decided to put a town hall together, and make sure there's a chair on stage for our elected representative to show up and speak with the people he is supposed to speak for. We want to be heard, and listened to, and voted for, not to be voiceless, only of interest for our tax money and our votes.
The District 1 Constituents' Town Hall is nearly here. It is tomorrow, May 28th, 2025, at the Chico Masonic Family Center. The doors open at 4:30 pm, with the event scheduled to start at 5:30 pm.

We hope to see our representative there... but, statistically speaking, it's not looking like the odds are in our favor. The event is open to the public, however, so we hope to see others from District 1 there!
Here's the letter of invitation that we sent to Rep. Doug LaMalfa, and sent copies of to other Northern California representatives.
