Indivisible Chico's mission is to build a more just and equitable society through informed and coordinated activism.
Our Mission
Indivisible Chico’s mission is to mobilize and empower our community to resist injustice and protect democracy through non-partisan, civic engagement and community building.
By holding space for a unified, compassionate, collaborative movement, we build local strength in numbers to advocate for our representation and needs.
Indivisible Chico is part of a larger national movement led by an organization called Indivisible. As neighbors and friends, we gladly work alongside the many like-minded groups in Chico who step up to help promote a better vision of our shared democracy.

Help Us Help Out
Some folks today are angry, some are scared, and some are just politically-minded and observant. There is a lot of chaos and uncertainty to navigate, and a lot of drastic changes impacting our democracy right now, and it has a lot of us fired up.
First of all, Good.
We should care. We should be animated by what is happening.
None of the last few months should be considered "normal."
We can't sit idly by and let this warped version of American Democracy take any more of a solid form than it already has. People are suffering, even dying, for political score-cards, and that's not what this Grand American Experiment was about.
Secondly, the question becomes: So Now What?
None of us really have any one, single, all-knowing answer to that. Indivisible Chico is trying to be smart about how we resist these changes to our country. We're trying to coordinate with our national and state and local networks to help our communities stand strong.
The common thread that binds it all, however, is our community. We believe that everything gets built on that.
So we encourage you to reach out to your friends, neighbors, or other folks around town and make connections. Have conversations. Share experiences. Be real with each other about what your country and democracy mean to you and see where things are similar and where they are different, where those ideas align.
