ACTION ALERT!
Neighbors,
We are facing a critical moment that demands national solidarity. As organizers in Minnesota launch a statewide economic pause and general strike, Chico is stepping up to join them. We are coming together, yet again this week, to say: ICE OUT, FOR GOOD.
Across the country, federal agents are storming our streets—harassing, detaining, and disappearing people without due process. This violence is not isolated. From the killing of Renee Nicole Good to the 32 people who died in ICE custody last year, it is clear: if we do not hold the line now, more lives will be lost.

This Friday, January 23rd, we are taking to the Esplanade to show that Northern California stands with the Twin Cities and all communities being terrorized by federal overreach.
Event Details
What: ICE Out for Good! Chico to MN Solidarity Day of Action
When: Friday, January 23 @ 3:00 PM
Where: Along the Esplanade (near Children’s Park)
What to Bring: Signs, a cell phone, and a commitment to steadfast nonviolence.
Why We Are Gathering
Our goals for this National Day of Solidarity are clear:
Solidarity with Minnesota: Supporting the statewide economic pause led by labor and grassroots organizers in the Twin Cities.
Demanding Accountability & Justice: Calling for an end to excessive force and racial profiling by federal agents, and demanding transparency regarding the 37 individuals who have died in ICE custody during this administration.
Political and Corporate Pressure: Urging Congress to rein in ICE and calling on local corporations to refuse cooperation with federal raids.
Honoring the 37 individuals who died in ICE custody since the Trump administration took over the department.
Strengthening Community Protection: Building local solidarity and neighborhood response systems to ensure all residents are protected and supported.
Take Action Now
If you cannot attend the visibility event, you can still participate in the National Day of Solidarity:
Economic Pause: In solidarity with MN, avoid non-essential consumer spending on Friday.
Call Your Representatives: Demand an immediate investigation into the killing of Renee Nicole Good and an end to ICE deployments in our neighborhoods.
We will not sit by while our communities are terrorized. We will meet this moment with steadfast nonviolence and unwavering solidarity.
See you on the Esplanade this Friday at 3:00 PM.
In solidarity,
Indivisible Chico
