Make Your Voice Heard: Nonviolent Action Training
Are you ready to take action and make a difference in these challenging times? Protests, rallies, and mass movements can create real change—but preparation is key.
Join the Chico Peace Alliance on April 5 from 9 AM to noon for a training workshop on effective nonviolent action. This session will explore the history of nonviolent movements, different forms of peaceful resistance, and strategies for impactful, well-organized, and safe demonstrations. We’ll also discuss power—who holds it, how it’s used, and how collective action can shift it.
The workshop includes role-playing exercises, group discussions, and practical guidelines to help you engage in meaningful, nonviolent activism. Whether you're new to activism or looking to deepen your understanding, this training will be thought-provoking, inspiring, and highly useful.
